this blog is basically all of the rumors from last season in one place. Except we've been hearing all of these for a year now.

You will see shortly that I am extremely high on the Coyotes chances moving forward here. All that being said I have heard rumblings about more than a few teams who have serious interest in Doan’s services were he to hit the market July 1. This is one case I will definitely not discuss the who’s and why’s about yet, suffice to say I believe Doan will remain in Phoenix as long as the NHL does.

Dont you often have to keep tight lipped on this type of thing? Confidentiality and that sort of thing etc?

I just don't believe in discussing teams who are interested in player still competing for the Cup. A rule of mine.

not for certain. There is a central division team as well as a team in the Northeast who may try and convince him otherwise.

that's a big part of it. More out of respect for the Cup playoffs.

I am of the belief that Ryan Suter’s future may be tied to Radulov’s future in Nashville. The Predators tried to get Nash and even considered Carter in an attempt to add scoring up front, but inevitably help came from a familiar face in Radulov. If Suter is pleased with what he sees I believe he stays a Pred for life. If he isn’t I believe we will see serious bids for his rights via teams we will discuss later on...

I think Suter's full of hot air. Since the ASG he's been playing like he's already mentally checked out. Hopefully he tries to go out with a bang instead of a whimper, but I don't see him coming back to Nashville. MN is the more likely destination. God only knows why.

If Toronto deals their 1st rounder this year for Nash I officially give up.

I can hear it now from Burke:

"Anytime you have the chance to get a player if this calibre you have to do it. I'd be an idiot not to make this deal and I'm not an idiot. I believe Rick Nash is a top 5 player in this league and give this team a chance to compete every night."

And he will speak to the trade of a lottery pick:

"The pick we gave away as part of the deal may well turn out to be a good NHL player...but as I said before, I'm not interested in 3-4 years from now, we're trying to wni now and Nash gives us that chance"

Man...being a Leafs fan sucks.
